She is a graduate of Wheaton College, MA, where they studied Sociology, Women's and Gender Studies, and Theatre. While new to the professional world, as the token Gen Z-er, she is no stranger to social media or advocacy. They are excited to see what they can offer to FDM and the world of neurodivergent/disability advocacy beyond the personal realm. They are a published poet, having been featured in the Rushlight Literary Magazine at her alma mater, and is currently working on publishing a collection of poetry.

Kayla Rodriguez

She is a Puerto Rican autistic lesbian with ADHD and a type 1 diabetic. Kayla was trained in the Bobby Dodd Institute Ambassador Program, the Georgia LEND Program and the My Voice My Participation My Board Program to be a skilled advocate. She has spoken on several panels, and she won the Golden Goal Goldie Award for Young Community Advocate and the Bobby Dodd Institute Empowers Luminaries Award. She was previously a paid intern at Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities. She was VP and Chief Ambassador of Autistic Self-Advocacy Atlanta. Now she is co-chair of the Executive Advisory Board for the Autistic Women and Non-Binary Network and wrote a chapter in the republished version of AWN’s Sincerely Your Autistic Child. She is also part of the US Alliance for Women Enabled International.

CJ Hicks is a technical writer and editor. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with her Bachelor's in Pre-Professional Speech-Language Pathology in 2019 and her Master's in English in 2021. Her professional interests are in accessibility, educational content, grant writing, and technical marketing communications.
