Creating a foundation for learning is the responsibility of every educator and therapist that purports to help autistic and other neurodivergent children. To do that, we must change the way we approach supports and accommodations. In “Changing the Way We Support”, teachers, therapists, counselors and other related professionals will learn along side their peers in a 12 lesson training course. In each class, you will learn valuable information that can be immediately applied to your current work. Built by Autistic and neurodivergent people, the Foundations for Divergent Minds model takes a unique approach to providing support to neurodivergent children. By learning about the five foundations and challenging your perceptions, you can start to see a change in the way the children in your care respond.
